The IndiGo Cadet Pilot Program by Garuda Aviation equips aspiring aviators with the skills, knowledge, and experience to excel in aviation. Through partnerships with 43 Air School (South Africa) and GATI (Delhi), this integrated program takes cadets from zero experience to an IndiGo-ready First Officer.
From DGCA ground school to SACAA flight training and final A320 type rating, Garuda offers a structured pathway with mentorship, transparency, and strong placement outcomes.
Program Phases
4-month DGCA-approved ground school in Delhi-NCR with 480 classroom hours, simulator exposure, SPL/FRTOL issue, and visa formalities.
14 months of integrated SACAA CPL/IR training leading to DGCA CPL/ME/IR conversion. Includes 204 total training hours (168 flight + 36 simulator).
Final phase includes Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) and Airbus A320 Type Rating — qualifying you to fly the A320 family as a First Officer.
