Programme Overview
The Air India Cadet Pilot Programme (USA Route) allows cadets to complete FAA Commercial Pilot License (CPL) training at Air India’s official partners — AeroGuard Flight Training Center and Acron Aviation Academy — followed by DGCA conversion and Type Rating in India.
Training Structure
- DGCA Ground School: 4 months in India
- FAA CPL Training: 12–15 months in the USA
- License Conversion: Conducted by Air India at AIFTA
- Type Rating: At Air India-affiliated ATOs
