CONVERSION FLYING
This is the process of converting a foreign pilot’s license to a DGCA license in India. The required flying hours vary depending on the applicant’s recency. Could vary between 9-21 hours.
Eligibility requirements
- Hold foreign CPL
- Have a valid Class 1 or 2 medical assessment for issuance of SPL
- Have a valid RTR(A)/RTR(C)/RTR(P)
- Have a valid FRTOL
- Have an original and completed personal flying logbook
- Have approved EGCA logbook entries
- Obtain PCC from your local SP location.
Examination requirements
- Pass the DGCA examination in Air Regulation Air Navigation & Meteorology.
- Clear RTR issued by WPC if Foreign CPL is from Non commonwealth country for example USA
